Art Activities for Toddlers
Art at our house is process art. She has ditched the pine cone, the hammer and the marker more than once to put her hands straight in the paint. Pine cone painting held her for 20+ minutes and is also the messiest thing on this page. I am a Type A mom, so I cover the whole table in paper and carry her straight to the sink after.
The hand print thank-you cards are my favorite for a different reason. My mom always had us write thank-you cards, and this is how I'm starting that with a kid who can't write yet. Every post says the mess level up front, from low (butcher paper on the dinner table) to high.
